We regret to inform you that the Smart Cities, Towns & Villages Conference, originally scheduled for 12-13 September 2024, has been postponed to March 2025.
This decision was made to ensure strategic alignment with key stakeholders and to maximize the event’s impact. Despite this change, our commitment to advancing the smart cities agenda remains unwavering. We encourage you to continue registering for the conference, as your involvement is crucial to the success of this transformative event. In the lead-up to the conference, we will be hosting Provincial Workshops aimed at engaging stakeholders, sharing insights, and preparing for the main event. These workshops will provide valuable opportunities to collaborate and lay the groundwork for the impactful discussions and actions that will take place in 2025.

The "Smart Cities and Towns Development Conference" is a pioneering effort to shape South Africa's future urban landscape and to pave the way for a more sustainable, efficient, and connected urban future in South Africa.
Black Circle Consulting is organizing a groundbreaking conference on South African
Provinces, Cities, Towns, and Rural Settlements within the context of the Fourth
Industrial Revolution and the transition to smart provinces, smart cities, smart towns,
and smart rural settlements.
This 2-day conference will be held with the support of the Department of Cooperative
Governance and Traditional Affairs (CogTa) the South African Local Government
Association (SALGA), Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA), and the South
African Cities Network (SACN).
